Our wire is fully (SVT-B) UL Listed. All of our wires are rated for 300V and can carry a weight load of 7.7 pounds. If you are working an a lighting project that only needs a 2-conductor cord all you need to do is just clip the green (ground) wire leaving only the black (positive) wire and white (negative) wire. It's best to order an extra 1-2 feet more cloth covered wire than you think you need for your project or light fixture to take account for any cuts and stripping of wires (or mistakes).
