- BASE FOR GROWTH MEDIUM || 100g bottle of general purpose, powdered bacterial growth medium base. Add ingredients (not included) to make Nutrient Agar or Tryptic Soy Agar.
- EASY TO PREPARE || Simply mix medium with deionized water, desired nutrients, and bring to a boil while stirring to ensure medium is completely dissolved. Pour into petri dishes or culture tubes, then allow medium to cool and harden.
- EXCELLENT FOR LABORATORIES AND CLASSROOMS || Ideal for use in general biology and microbiology laboratories and classrooms.
- APPLICATIONS || This product is used as a base to make Nutrient Agar or Tryptic Soy Agar. It contains no nutrients and will not grow cultures without additional ingredients (not included).
