The Complete Nanny Katie collects for the first time the 1990s-era comic stories written by Jeffrey Lang (Star Trek: The Next Generation - Immortal Coil and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Force and Motion), and illustrated by Steve Lieber (Whiteout, Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen) and Chris McLoughlin (Mystery Men, Holmes). The three stories -- An Edwardian Nursery, Sir John's Passing and Divine Wind -- are set in different lands and different eras but are all tied together by the presence of a mysterious woman whose role it is to soothe troubled souls as they shift from life to death or death to rebirth. Alternately charming, sad, and disturbing, all three tales have the artwork and lettering retouched by the original artists. The collection also includes a preview of a new novel by Lang - Kirby and the Queen Bee -- an extension of the world sketched out in the short stories.
