Timber Wolf's use of premium Swedish steels, proprietary induction hardening methods and exclusive tooth milling processes has created some of the finest woodworking blades in the world. Milling the teeth of the blades into a piece of strip steel produces a finished, razor sharp edge without ever having to stamp or grind the teeth. Induction hardening allows for different but more precise hardness throughout the blade. These unique manufacturing techniques along with the use of Swedish Silicon steel and the highest quality alloys set these blades apart from all other wood blades. This AS (Alternate Set) blade is unique in its body thickness, set, and rake angle. It is .032 thick, has a full alternate set, a unique rake angle of 8.5 degrees and also incorporate the unique geometry of our PC tooth design. This blade is primarily used by wood-turners and wood-carvers when roughing out blanks from burls and logs. Its performance is excellent if the thickness of your material exceeds 6 to 8 inches This blades is not meant to be used on three wheel band saws or any saw with less than a 90" blade length or a wheel diameter of less than 14".
