XL, Slow Hay Horse Feeder

XL PORTA-GRAZER- 2 piece set includes: barrel and one grazing pan with 6 hole count for feeding all types of hay off any size bale. Can also be used with cubes. Drain plug for easy cleaning or when soaking hay. Designed as a twice a day feeder - Fill it morning and night. Approximate hay capacity = 5655 cu. in. = 3 average size flakes. Weight will vary depending on the compaction and moisture content of the hay. For best results the hay is not fluffed, simply place the flake flat against the inside barrel wall, push down folding the flake over to the bottom – creating an arch – (see picture) then line up the keyhole in the pan with the arrow on one handle, drop in the pan and give it a spin. You should not have to push down on the pan to get it to lock in.. It should drop freely thru the notches. Takes only seconds to load. Instructions for how to load and introducing to your horse is included. The patented interlocking tab system allows the pan to be secured in the barrel. The hay stays in even if rolled around. No hardware to catch on blankets or halters. Can be used with horses with shoes.
