This Yasutomo Silverpoint drawing tool is a centuries old technique in which silver is used to draw on a specially prepared surface, leaving traces of the metal to create one’s drawing. Silverpoint drawings tarnish over time, creating warmer tones. Yasutomo Silverpoint Drawing Tools have a black 5 1/2 inch long wooden handle, 99 % silver points are beveled to allow for different drawing techniques. Points can be removed by simply unscrewing them from the handles and replaced with Yasutomo silverpoint refills. This tool has a 2mm point.
